I am a Hertfordshire based psychotherapist and counsellor who is dedicated to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing through not only my client work but through my engagement with the wider community.
I believe very strongly in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the changes which can happen with the right therapist and an open mind, helping clients to take back their power and create changes in their lives is one of the most rewarding things for me as a therapist. The importance and power of a human connection and the trust in this connection is always at the forefront of my work, always offering every client voice and choice in how their sessions are used and the pace they choose to set.
Through my own experiences of life's challenges and changes I hold a deep empathy for anyone needing the space and time to make sense of their own experiences and their feelings around these. I understand that with a rapidly changing world and many huge environmental changes occurring the need to make sense of where we are and where we would like to be is ever more present.
How I work:
I am an accredited member registered with the NCPS and take time to continue my learning with regular training and continual professional development.
Since qualifying in 2019 I have worked with many different client groups both in person and online, even during Covid. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, personality disorders, OCD, suicidal ideation amongst many other presenting issues.
As an integrative therapist I use a person centered approach combined with elements of cognitive behavioural techniques and will set aims upon our initial meeting to help you to move through your challenges feeling empowered along the way.
